I. General and Technical Questions
 
A. Why can't I download the movies?

Some browsers, particularly older versions of Internet Explorer, have problems with opening movies. Your best bet is to right-click on the movie and "save as" to somewhere on your computer. You want to keep them anyway, right?

B. I can't view the movies correctly!

Compressor/Decompressor, or CoDec, is something you need to play AVI files. When the clip was encoded some sort of codec was used and you need the same codec in order to be able to view the clip. The most common codecs are available for direct download. We strongly suggest you download and install all of them. You WILL need them sooner or later anyway! Just to be on the safe side and avoid any complications, install each codec indivudually with a reboot between each installation.

How do you install these things then? Well, the codecs that are contained in *.exe files are self installing and all you need to do is simply double click on them once they're downloaded (though the DivX codec requires a bit more - read the documentation). The *.zip files need to have their contents extracted to a temporary directory first (winzip from http://www.winzip.com does this). One of the extracted files will be a *.txt (text) file - READ this text file since it contains information on how to install that particular codec.

C. When is the site updated?

Different parts of the site are updated at different times. The main image gallery, for example, is updated every Wednesday. Hosted imaging artist pages are updated whenever the artist creates new work - it could be every day or it could be once a week. Personally, I'm pretty lazy about scanning, but artists like Freakie update several times a week. Be sure to read the news page on the main menu for more information about our featured updates.

D.How do I view the images once I've saved them?


Although you can use Windows Explorer to view pictures, it's not really that great of a program. Most collectors I know use separate image viewers like ACD-SEE to manage their pictures, but that's entirely up to you.

E - I forgot my username and/or password! Help!

Drop us an
email with as much information you can provide - username if you need your password, password if you need your username, email address if you've lost both, date you signed up if you know it, etc.

F - Why isn't (insert celebrity name here) on the site?

Most likely one of two reasons:

1) Some celebrities have asked us to not include them on this site. We respect their wishes, and have removed all pictures of them from our galleries.

2) We just haven't gotten around to it! If there is someone you'd like to see included in our galleries, let us know and we'll do our best to fulfill your request.
 
II. Account and Billing Questions
 
A. How much am I billed and how often?

You were billed $29.95 when you signed up, and will be rebilled every month for that amount until you cancel your account.

B. How long does my account last after I cancel?

You account lasts until the end of the month that you last paid for. So, if you are billed on the 15th and you cancel on the 20th, you will still have a membership until the 15th of the next month.

C. How do I cancel my membership?
